Special Editions
Since 2015 Mazda has created a large number of special editions of the MX-5, not all of which have been available in the UK. I’ve recorded below all the special editions which have been made available in the UK, as a convertible and/or as the RF (Retractable Fastback). Often the total number of vehicles was limited to around 500, sometimes fewer and in the case of the 30th Anniversary Edition, a few more due to it being available as either a convertible or RF. Some of the special editions were little more than upgraded trim levels. Lately, Mazda has included unique upgrades e.g. unique paint colours, unique roof colours, Recaro seats or Brembo brakes.
